Now that is the face of one happy Daddy! I'm the first to admit that buying presents for boys is definitely not my thing but I think I may have nailed it this time. Hannah and I picked out a remote control helicopter for Scott because he is pretty much the perfect Daddy and totally deserves some goof-off time. I think the best part of my Father's Day was seeing the look in his eyes when he opened it. Yipee!!!!!!!
We spent the night with my family and it was a simply beautiful evening. The weather was great, the food was great and the company was great. Great Grandpa Hoeke held Ella for almost an hour and I could tell he was just savoring every single moment of it.
I snapped this picture of Scott and Ella while we were out playing in the yard. He just sort of slipped away to have a couple quiet moments with Ella. It perfectly summarizes Scott as a Daddy. He helps. He is hands on. He is right there all the time. He treasures being a Dad and doesn't want to miss anything. I appreciate all the help he gives me and that he is always looking for ways to make my job as Mommy just a bit easier. Thanks, Lover for being an amazing father!!!
And, I just had to show-off this adorable picture of Hannah and Harrison. I'm so glad they graduated to the BFF stage. They kept each other busy for HOURS and are possibly the cutest duo EVER!!!

Thanks for telling me about this picture. It is great. So Harrison and Hannah. They were probably holding hands while sticking their tongues out at eachother. They are a riot. Ella looked gorgeous yesterday!!!
